Online RN to BSN Chamberlain College questions

Published

For those that went thru the program or those planning to attend can you tell me if it is legitimate? How can it be possible without clinicals? Can you practice as RN BSN in California upon completion? One last question, what am I looking at for fees?

Thanks a bunch in advance!

I'm attending chamberlain right now. I graduate in 8 weeks from the RN-BSN program. While you don't do clinicals, you do several experiential learning projects that have you out there in the field in your community health and collaborative health care classes. You don't have clinicals like you do in your ADN program because you already are an RN and they assume most of their RN-BSN students are working as nurses or have worked as nurses before enrolling. It is a program geared for the working RN. It is legitimate, they are accredited, and I'm not sure what you mean about working as an RN BSN in CA after completion, you can work as an RN in CA with or without the BSN. It is expensive, the program cost me about $22,000 in total but I was able to complete in 10 months and can move right onto grad school now.
