SJVC Visalia LVN to RN Program

Nursing Students School Programs

Published

Hi all,

Just thought I would start a thread to see who applied for the upcoming 2018 cohort. I also wanted to check in and see how your experience has been so far through the application process. As for me, so far, I think I'm doing really well! I scored a level 2 on the RN fundamentals exam, had a great interview, and now I'm locked in with my finances. Just waiting for the phone call from SJVC to tell me if I've been accepted or not.

I believe there are only 24 seats for the bridge program and over 100 applicants. It's more competitive than I thought, especially because it's a private college.

We're supposed to hear by October 15th. Good luck to everyone!! :)

Have a good weekend everyone! Guess we'll find out next week on Monday or Tuesday! YAY! This is the only time I want the weekend to go by quick :)

I know, they sure did use "til the end of the month" lol.

If I get a call I'll post that I did!! Have a great weekend! I go back to work Sunday.

I GOT IN!!!!!!!! I'm soooooo happy! :)

How exciting!! Congratulations!! I havent heard anything!!

At this rate, Im guessing I didn't get in. But I guess there is always next time!! Congratulations!!

Keeping my fingers crossed for you!

I didn't get in. Apparently I'm considered a dropped student because ELEVEN years ago I took 3 weeks of the dental assistant program and decided it wasn't for me. They said they can't give me a seat over someone who has never attend their college before. So basically if I ever apply and there are more applicants than seat I will never get in. I'm so mad. They should have said something during ANY part of the application process that this was a possibility. But congratulations!!

OMG I'm so sorry!! Seriously... I would think that they would've brought something like that up during the application process. Don't worry. You'll get in somewhere. Good luck and thank you so much. 11 years ago.. That's such a long time gap!

Congratulations!

Sorry to hear that. I'm an alternate:(

Congratulations!

Thank you!!! :)
