Any one applying for Nursing at NCC for Fall 2018?

Yes, They provide a calculator within the software.

Thank you! Good luck with admissions!!! Hope we get in!

Thanks for the info! This is my first time applying and I'm not so confident as I have 108 points. If not I plan to take two summer courses then apply again. Fingers crossed though you never know

Nassau got the final approvals last week... now it's going to be a bsn program... 1st semester nursing student here. Btw, I see a lot of people complaining about classes and grades and if a C grade is good enough to get in. It is depending on your overall grades but honestly speaking here, if you haven't been able to put the work in with the easier classes like a&p and med micro then you're going to have a reality check with the nursing classes. I'm running a straight 4.0 with all the prerequisites done and it's rougher than when I took 5 classes in the summer (including micro)... a bunch of people have already failed out and we're only a month in. There are a bunch of repeaters and if that's not enough, out of 42 people 30 failed between 203 and 204. Just make sure that this is something you want before even applying. It would be a shame for a seat to go to waste because an individual took on more than they could handle.

This is great news. Yes don't apply if this is not for you. And your 4.0 GPA you should concern NYU nursing.

NCC BSN program will not go into effect till next two years. Nursing and prerequisite classes are different. No one with 4.0 GPA and perfect teas score would apply to NCC. Any this year they will take more evening people than ever before. I heard that if you apply closer to the dateline they will look at your application first.. because they pile it up so the last set get look at first..after the space are full they stop...

Hello snoop! This is great news.! Thanks for updating us. This will be my second time (fingers crossed) in Nassau's program and I know what you're saying is the truth. I had to give myself 5 years to get it together and you definitely must know when you're ready!

Logic, the first time I was in the program, I was in class with a person who had a 4.0 and high teas scores... I don't see why you're saying this. How's the program going for you? You're in your second semester, correct?

Yes, I felt that nursing school is easier. Maybe it's just me. you have to want this and it's is hard don't waste a space that a real nurse could have been...please don't apply if you have other commitments and you can't do this.

I am applying for this fall..super nervous. Hoping to get into the night track. Anyone else?
