LPN to RN online

  1. Hi! I'm a full time LPN, I have RI and CA license. I want to know if there's an online school that I can enroll to bridge to RN, my only problem is I don't have any credits from any school because I just challenged the board exam for LPN. Most of the school that I went to are requiring credentials. Or is there any way I could challenge the NCLEX-RN? if so, how may years do I have to be an LPN to challenge the board exam?

I've never heard of an LPN being able to take NCLEX RN just because they've been an LPN for a long time. You have to actually go to (and graduate from) RN school.

No sorry in order to take the NCLEX you must graduate from an accredited program. There are programs out there where you can Bridge from LPN to RN but without having any prior college-level credits to transfer I'm not sure you'd be able to do it. Best of luck.

California allows it with a specified amount of CNA experience, and I believe, a pharmacology class. I know two people who have attempted, but both failed.

You cannot 'challenge' the NCLEX - RN. And it is insulting to 3.3 million RNs to think that you can.

You need to begin taking pre-requisites. There is no online option that does not involve general education courses, hard sciences and hundreds of hours of clinicals.
