Anyone apply for the LIU ACCELERATED NURSING PROGRAM for Summer 2018? I submitted my application but they said they won't review until I have all my pre-reqs (microbio) and bachelor's degree on paper.

I am very disappointed to see how slow the process is, I just submitted my application today... so that I guess I would not hear from them anytime soon.

Did anybody confirm whether or not the TEAS is required? I checked their requirements and it is not listed.

I am also confused about the teas. It is no longer on the website but on a notice board for new students in the nursing dept it was still required to progress to the professional stage. It listed instructions on how to take it at liu. I think they want you to take it through LIU.

The notice board also said that they changed the courses and had to get them approved so I think that is why everything is delayed.

It is worth noting though that I was listed as prematriculant for a while and when I had my teas result (took it for another school) sent to liu I progressed to active in program/matriculated. Therefore if you have it already send it just in case as it is hard to get info at that school.

Hi, I just noticed today my online portal says admitted but I have not gotten an email or anything in the mail. I was wondering if anyone knows when I should expect those or how long I have to pay the deposit

Hi!

I received an email with the requirements to complete the application and the teas was not part of it. I guess we do not have to take the exam!

Quick questions, how long ago did you apply for the program? and when did you received the information to check your application status?

I submitted mines but have not received a username to check the application status.

@DayWall I did not take the TEAs I applied back in February and I think I received login info pretty quickly but the school has been very hard to get answers from but I would try calling admissions. Good luck!

Don't hold your breath for that email as it will not come. Mail your official transcripts and make your deposit. I am active in the system and waiting for registration and I have only received one email saying to complete my application. The only updates you will get is through the application portal.

Go to my.liu.edu and activate your account to make the deposit payment so your application can progress to the next stage.

Hi Daywall, the email that you got with your missing requirements has a link at the bottom to check your application. The username and password is the same info that you used when you applied. Good Luck!

Hey!

Hope someone can help me here :) It says on the website that the ABSN program begins 2 times a year, in spring and summer. Does anyone have any idea if that is true, and if it is, when the spring program started for 2018/ or when it will start for 2019?

It is true, i read on their website that this is the first year they admitted students for Spring semester. No idea when the program started though. I know the summer class starts end of May.
