Have you tried calling them?

Yes and all I get it there answering machine.

I havent received anything from them either! should I call?

Hey futurenurse2308 I called SWC last week. The lady I spoke with said that they have already selected ALL students for spring 2018 including alternates. She also said that they will send denial emails at a later date. I took it as if someone has not received an offer to start the program in January or an offer as an alternate, Then a denial notice will come sometime later.

There was a mandatory orientation meeting today for those selected and the alternates. So I'm thinking his week they will know for sure if they will accept anyone else.

(I was accepted to the program but, declined as I was accepted to another school)

I just figured that I wasn't accepted so I signed up for west coast University. Thanks tho!

That's also one of my options to but I figure it wouldn't hurt if I waited a lil more since that WCU $$ pill is a lot for me swallow. Good luck to you tho!!

I was hesitant about it as well but my husband suggested I look into it since waiting was not an option for me. Went to the session and found out that most students only leave with 40,000 in debt. Which technically isn't bad but that's with transferred credits. So since I'm transferring about all the pre reqs my cost would be around 60,000 but that's with out scholar ships, financial aid, grays , etc.

Yeah I'm in the same boat. I was able to transfer my pre- reqs as well. I actually began the process with them but I think I may back out and just wait a lil. I'm on a waitlist to potentially get into trade tech for Fall 2018. WCU do require that u take pre- reqs specific to their school and I'm at the point where after almost 3 years working towards pre-reqs for nursing, my brain doesn't want to work with anything that's not nursing related. The best thing about their program is that u earn a BSN in less than 3yrs if your transfer credits. So I figured I can wait one more semester before I take that step. If time is an issue for you then WCU is an option.

I also applied to WCU and now I'm just waiting for my evaluation to be done with them. I am taking this last option because I did not get into any of the schools I applied to and I applied to a lot! I am an alternate for two schools but I can't take the chance of waiting around anymore. :/ it has been a very long journey applying more than once
