Joliet Junior College Fall 2018 applicants

Nursing Students School Programs

Published

Hello,

I'm applying for the JJC nursing program this February and I'm wondering if anyone else is as stressed as I am? I didnt ask many questions at the meeting with my advisor (we basically went over prereqs, grades, and general program info) so does anyone know how the whole process works? I really need the night program and was told that I could potentially get bumped to the next semester if it fills up with applicants that received a higher TEAS score and higher GPA. I'd appreciate any info.

Thanks in advance,

Hello All! Has anyone been accepted to the LPN to RN transition program at JJC for fall 2018?

Hey! Quick question, did anyone get an email today regarding an additional background check?

Yep, I got that email too!

I'm not going to lie. I panicked a bit. I spoke with Paul and it looks like everyone got it.

I panicked too lol!

Hey! Did anyone get charged $45 instead of $25 for the additional background check?

Just got the call. Yesterday May 4th. I'm in the evening, fall 2018, Joliet junior college program.

It been a rough wait. The TEAs test crashed on me. I touched the number pad on keyboard to do math calculation. Long story short. I got a 77 on the teas. the math section was calculated separately. Jjc nursing department didn't accept the score. Told me the first week of April "no." Joliet junior college made me take it two days later, so they can send acceptance emails. I got a 73. I was devasted for an entire month of April and was planning a "gap" year.

Now im in. After spring finals I have to RUSH around to get immunization and background checks. I'm still bitter about all the extra stress I had to go through just to get into nursing school. I have a GPA 3.0 with all prereqs done

Congrats printmeacoupon!

Hey everyone!

I was wondering if there were any other alternates out there patiently waiting (or trying! LOL) like me? Or if anyone had any other updates? I know we will know for sure either way by mid-July, but I'm getting antsy with the next application period coming up!

HELP!

Hi everyone, I would like to know what's really helpful to study for Pn predictor in order to be in the nursing program at jjc. I am trying to get in the lpn to Rn program. I don't know much about pn predictor test. Please let me know what's best to study in order to be successful. Thanks!
