Houston Community College Fall 2018 ADN program.

Nursing Students School Programs

Published

I was just wondering if anyone here is planning on applying for the ADN program this fall 2018. I will hopefully be applying but I need a retake on the hesi exam I passed all sections except the AP section.

We are supposed to print them out wherever we take it & submit it when we turn in the application.

I just applied to the nursing program this week for the Fall. I applied in the Spring and got accepted but unfortunately wasn't able to start. They just added a new program partnered with UH for our Bachelors after you get your ADN.

Im excited to start my nursing journey. :bookworm:

Yeah I'm actually finishing this semester with the last prerequisite for the bachelors but I'm going with my associates first since it'll be much cheaper & I want to start working already. I will also be applying for the respiratory therapist program just in case I dont' get accepted into the nursing program. I'm a little nervous since my gpa isn't the best. Do you know how do the vaccines work? Like what if you got the hep b shot but the antibodies went away do you have to retake the series or will I just have to get a booster?

Would you guys mind sharing your stats?

Pre Req GPA 3.5

HESI: 92%

I applied last week. I'm nervous because the only reviews I can find are AWFUL. It's scaring me. Does anyone know someone who is going there and is having a NORMAL nursing school experience? I'm seriously thinking I probably shouldn't go there. I've seen about 8-10 reviews from 2016 to early 2017. There are more students than that! I need to see some happy people reviews (as happy as one can be surviving through the nursing program, lol!) Yikes.

Pre Req GPA 3.8

HESI: 88% (smh)

Yes the reviews are terrible. It's certianly not my first choice. I'm just ready to work though! lol

At the info session they said that if you met the requirements , then you would be accepted. The advisor told me that they only had about 60 applicants so far.
