I paid and registered online 2 weeks before I wound up taking it. You don't need an appointment for the testing center but you do need to pay and register for the test. I had to wait about 7 min. to get set up once there.
awesome, great to know. I appreciate it!!

Hello, I'm Alyssa :)
I'm applying for the 2018 Fall ADN program too. I have all of my nursing pre-reqs completed, finishing all of my associate degree requirements/transfer for BSN requirements this spring semester, and I'm receiving my Associate in Science in May. I plan to take pharmacology my first semester of the program, or maybe even this summer.
I made an A in ENGL 1301 and a B in A&P1.
I just took my HESI on Jan. 12 and got a 91.2%.
It looks like my score is a 7.15 if I did the math correctly. Really hoping that this score will be high enough to make it in! I am very nervous about it and really would prefer not to have to retake anatomy again to attempt an A..

Hello Everyone,
I am applying to the program to start in Fall. I was scheduled for my HESI on January 16, 2018 but "Houston was closed" LOL
I have re-scheduled for the middle of February. Does anyone have any advice on study material. I am studying the Elesvor book, and pocket prep.
I have an A in Eng 1301 and and A in A&P I. I am taking A & P II this semester, and still need Micro. Good Luck Everyone :)

@Jenn M tbh I watched videos on YouTube, specifically AnatomyGMC. She went over all the systems in great detail. Then I purchased the A&P portion of Readyforthehesi. There were exact questions on the hesi test that came from
this guide! That's how I prepared for AP and ended up with a 92% on that portion. Everything else, I reviewed the Hesi review book, used quizlet, and the pocket prep app. If u need the study guide, I can personally email it you, no charge.

@RayNicole, would you mind sending me the study guide too? I'm a former PV student and failed out by 2 points my fourth semester. I'm not giving up and I want to do better on my HESI this time around so I can get it right the first time. And congratulations on the high scores! my email is [email protected]
Hello! I'm Maya. I am a former PVAMU nursing student. I failed Med surg II by two measly points and it put me out of my program. I'm not giving up though. I didn't do bad on HESI my first time around but I want to do better because I have no reason to fail (seeing as though I made it so far through PV's program) if anyone has any suggestions or pointers, I do not want to be unprepared. Good luck to everyone applying and I look forward to meeting you all.
Thank you so much! I got the materials
