Hi all!

Thought I would start a thread for the fall semester! Anyone who wants to share their stats or anything about the application process can post them here! My stats as of now...

Pre-nursing GPA: 3.54

Science GPA: 3.67

HESI: 87.7

Pretty worried that my stats aren't good enough. Scored low on the A&P section of the HESI (80%) but made an A in the class...hoping maybe that will help even it out? I get discourage when I read through the other threads and see people get rejected with 4.0 GPA's and 90s on the HESI. :( I do have 80 volunteering hours at a children's hospital but I doubt that would help me enough.

I'm trying to enter my scores but it's kinda confusing me.

Where do you find the Test ID and HESI ID? Also, what do I put for the test component?

(I took the hesi under another schools id)

Yes. I had to do this. Log into your evolve account and access your HESI. There is a form there to download that you will need to print and fill out with UT registrar information. Make sure you select to send your scores via email. Then scan and email the completed form to the email address provided by evolve and include in the email that you want your scores sent to UT health registrars office. Mine took 7 days to get to them and get processed, start to finish.

Does anyone know if they look at your overall GPA as well as prerequisite GPA?

Also, does the application status remains incomplete until they make a decision? Since my transcript is not final, I am still finishing up a couple of classes, so the final transcript is still on my to do list. If anyone has any information please let me know.

prerequisite: 3.94

science:4.0

HESI: 94 ( they said that they don't look at critical thinking scores anymore)

I am really hoping that my stats will be enough for me to make it in, but their selection process is a complete mystery. I heard some people with average stats get in, and some 4.0s getting rejected.

Anyone, please! What did you put for the HESI ID number when you were entering your test scores? I can't find it anywhere! Is it the department ID?

Sorry for the late reply, but if I remember correctly, I used the "session ID" number at the very bottom of the page that has your HESI scores from Elsevier. I don't even know if that's the right way to do it, but I'm pretty sure that's what I did.

Just submitted my application!! Do we get an email from them after our application fee has been processed? I want to start tracking the status of all my stuff asap! lol :wacky:

You'll get an email from the bursar's office for the payment, then a few days later you'll get 2 emails with the MyUTH login information.

Does anyone know how long we have to take in between the HESI a2? I am taking HESI for a different school on 2/24--if I didn't do great on that, I wanted to take it again before march 15 with UTHealth code. Will this work fine? Help!!!

also, any a&p study tips? Thanks, y'all!
