Hello

i just applied to COC RN program for spring 2017 and am seeing if anyone else has also! I have also applied for moorpark and thinking about applying to Glendale as well. Should I be studying for the TEAS? I don't have a high GPA in bio (all Cs...) do I even have a chance of being accepted??

thanks for any replies

I have a 4.0 in the sciences and a 3.2 or so over-all. I also have healthcare experience. I haven't taken the teas yet. I am studying for it now, and it is stressing me out! What resources are you guys using to study? I have found that there are not many resources available for the new version of the Teas.

Anyone else willing to share their stats?

Hi how are you guys today? This is my first semester applying. I had a 3.8 in bio and a 3.32 overall and I got a 73.3 on my teas which I am not to proud of :-(

My stats I'm not too happy about :(. I got all Cs in bio (2.0) and a 3.1 cumulative GPA. I haven't taken the teas. I did do the CNA program with COC and have healthcare experience. I'm hoping my experience as a CNA and a massage therapist overshadows my low sciences GPA. A girl can hope!

yea just keep positive and if you do good on your teas test then it will help you with the points

Hey everyone, also applied to COC, Pasadena, Glendale, Valley, Pierce, and Southwest just in case. My stats are 3.0 in the sciences and 2.7 in overall GPA which isn't great. I do have a BS in Health Administration and fluent in Russian so hopefully that helps me. I have not taken the teas yet. Has anyone used the practice tests through ATI website?

hey guys. i have 3.6 gpa in bio (2 A's and 1 B) and 3.8 overall. it's gonna be my first time taking the teas if i get invited. I am so nervous! Hopefully it's not too bad.

Hi everyone! Today I received my invitation to moorpark to take the teas!! Has anyone else heard back from moorpark? Next week we should hear back from coc. Fingers crossed for everyone

Hello everyone,

I also applied to COC for spring 2017. Has anyone heard anything through email about their status?

I have 4.0 in the sciences , 3.5 overall , 74.7% on teas, CNA , Spanish speaker

I'm nervous!

are you taking the teas 6 or you're using your score for teas 5? Can you give us tips about the teas

Taking the teas 6 on October 7th. The date is getting so close! I bought the study guide and practice tests on the ATI website. I had been using the pocket prep app on iPhone before I got the practice tests and study guides.

I took the teas v so I can't give much advice, but my friend took the six and she said it was not difficult and she liked having a calculator.
