Im in the process of finishing up my pre-reqs and submitted my application for Spring 2017 as well. I am a nervous wreck waiting to hear back.

I know the feeling. I received my acceptance last week and with it I'm still a nervous wreck. You'll be fine. Reach out to Lisa in advisement she's more helpful.

Puffs, you've already received your acceptance? How did you find out so soon?

HI Spencer66,

They're in the process of sending out acceptance letters, Sept 20th was the last interview day and they were going to start preparing students files to send to the nursing committee for a decision. I received the letter on Sept. 26. I already have a BA this will be my second bachelor and I've taken all my pre reqs. One thing you have to be is persistent with those nursing advisors and you have to stay on top on your progress.

Puffs what were your stats like? I'm a transfer from FIU, 3.2 GPA, a ton of work experience, and very solid leadership skills/development. Terri (the advisor) said I had a solid chance of getting in, I've been working with her throughout the summer, but I'm unsure. I did amazing with the interview, but I'm anxious lol

Sounds like you have a great shot of getting in. I got in with a 3.1, didn't finish the reading part on the Kaplan exam but did well on the other sections and had an amazing interview lol... so yeahhh you'll get in. Follow up this week with them they aren't done accepting students yet.

That's good to know Puffs. They are making decisions quick! I am scanning my email everyday. I submitted my documents on the 23rd. I hope I hear soon. 🙃 I have a great gpa but like I mentioned before still finishing up my pre reqs maybe that's why I haven't heard yet. Either way congrats to you!!!

Sorry for the delay response. Thank you! What classes are you taking now? if it's sciences they will be waiting on those grades. Did you take the Kaplan exam?
