I took NCLEX RN & failed. I'm so nervous about retaking it. I took the test almost a year ago. I'm so scared to fail again. Has anyone taken the online hurst review? If so what are your thoughts on it & did you pass or fail & how long did you prepare?

There's a lot of positive results and feedback from people who took Hurst and passed the NCLEX in this message board. If you feel that you need help with brushing up on your nursing content then Hurst would be a good fit for you.

IT is a great tool for content but cover 1-2 pages of management of care which is nothing.
As u know management of care itself contains 16-22%,safety and infection control 8-14% and psychological integrity 6-12%
IT really explain well in diseases but less in above mentioned topics which are the main in NCLEX-RN exam.
In my view it is really expensive review and customer service is really really bad.
IT did help me to understand the diseases but did not taught me how to deal with above mentioned topics and you have
to print out whole lot of pages which is another headache and cost extra money.I did failed NCLEX-RN exam after taking
Hurst review.I would highly recommend to check this link to prepare yourself.

Good luck with your preparation.
Thanks so much

If u have taken the test 1 yr ago i would highly, highly reccommend taking Hurst in person review. They are the best imo on content review and u receive the book. U also have access to the videos and other material for 2 wks and the ob/mgmt delegation/peds videos for several mths.
I would then tell u u if u have the resources to take the kaplan because they aren't that good in content unless u are motivated to read the book that comes with it but they are excellent in strategies and in the qbank questions.

I passed my second time and used Hursts. :). I currently work at Brookhaven hospital as an RN!! I would never want to re-live that nclex experience. I'm so glad it's finally over. I occasionally pop into the threads to see how the new grads are making out. Hursts was GREAT!!! I looked at each video twice, and some I looked at three times. Wanted to add that!!! Good luck!! :)
