Masters level CNS vs. DNP CNS vs. Nurse Practitioner

  1. Hello! I'm currently an RN BSN OCN, but plan to further my career down the road. I'm not sure Nurse Practitioner is for me. I may not want that much responsibility on my shoulders. Are there any CNS programs around Missouri that are NOT at a doctorate level? Mizzou offers DNP CNS part time, but it will take 6 years to complete. I'd really like a program where I can specialize in Oncology at the masters level. Suggestions? Are there any options other than a general MSN with AOCNS certification?
