Hello everyone!
I just left my testing center after taking the lifespan psych test. I passed with a C:bugeyes:. I actually thought i did better than a "c", but ill get over it!
This test was really hard for me. Why? Because I have no interest in this subject!! My advice to anyone who takes this exam is to know your stufff when it comes to Erikson, Piaget, Freud, and the different types of scientific studies (cross sectional, sequential....ect). Also, the EC practice exam does help. It exposes you to the type of questions/situations that will be asked. A few questions actually came right from the practice test!!!!1
Well, im on to defeat Microbiology! I plan to test at the end of the month!
Did anyone else have trouble with lifespan?
How was the Micro in comparison? What supplemental Micro notes did you use?
Happy 4th!

I'm sorry to be the bearer of bad tidings, but at the school I attended (a Northern California community college) micro was substantially more challenging than lifespan psych. However, the difficulty level of various courses can vary widely depending on the individual faculty member and the way the particular class is structured.
Even if your micro class was like mine, good study habits can get you through it.
Good luck!
I do realize that ANY micro class will be harder than lifespan psych. I am just more into the nursing concepts and science classes such as A+P, Micro, Bio ect. I did lifespan first because i knew it would be the hardest for me....and now i dont have to look at that book again!!!

Good Job!
I took 2 months to study Micro and it was my favorite subject. Passed with a B...I used the micro coloring book to start off, it helped me alot.

congrats. micro was a very complx course for me. but i passed it. The txbook was so voluminous. Just focus on the microbiology study guide by Funke. It's very on the point and as good as gold. make sure you study DNA and RNA.

Congrats, I take Lifespan exam this week...sooooo nervous, this theory stuff was my least favorite in LPN school and remains my least favorite....just hoping to pass and onto A&P and micro....very nervous about those
I'm taking the Lifespan exam in the morning and am freaking out! I took the practice exam and got 70 on part a and 79 on part b. I really hate this theory stuff. I can't wait until it is over. I just hope I pass!
I think if you scored in the high 70's on the practice exams you will be just fine ( aka pass)! My highest score, i believe, was about 69 on the practice exam. I think i took a risk testing with that score, but i just wanted to get it over with! For Micro i dont want to test unless i have much better practice scores! EC Micro will not transfer to my area cc with a grade lower than a B ( Im trying to obtain my General Studies degree at the same time:uhoh3: )
Good Luck and keep us posted!
