Well, I can't believe my time has come. I test on Tuesday the 12th. I haven't been nervous at all. I actually have been having to make myself study. I am so over it! Is it bad I feel this way? My husband seems to think that it is b/c I am ready. I think he is just trying to be encouraging. I have used only the Saunders CD to study. I have done so many questions on the CD that they are repeating. I did not take a review class because I really don't have the money. I did well in school and feel that that has prepared me enough. PLEASE PRAY FOR ME!!! I know it is not in my hands, but I guess I posted this message b/c I needs words of encouragment?! Soon to be RN!

I am testing tuesday 2/12 too..I didn't take a review class either because I could not afford it. I haven't been nervous really either until today! My stomach is in knots! I cannot do another question! I have done saunders questions and I borrowed a Kaplan cd from someone..I am sooo over it too. I will pray for you if you pray for me....good luck

do not freak out.. breathe its okay..
take the day before off and just look over lab values, no studying
drink a gatorade before you go -- stays in you w/out u having to get up and pee in the test
eat a bananna before you go
wear layers
pray hard, stick with the method of answering questions that works best for you
plan plenty of time to get to the center, relax, your almost there :)
kapplan i will say is the most like the format os the nclex questions, you are in good shape if you have studies with kapplan's products
tell yourself you can do it and pray (if you do that) your families love you, god loves you, this whole chatboard supports you and wants you to suceed, the worst thing you can do is freak out, draw up a battle plan. :)

I wish you all good luck next week. best advice I think is what someone said above. Don't do anything to intense the day before the test. I liked the advice on the gatoraid and banana also!! Also take your time with the questions. I tested yesterday and was very tired didn't follow the advice I just gave and I feel I went through the test to fast. You do have 6 hours. I got done in like almost 2 and it stoped me at 75. I know alot of people write this but I really feel like I choked because I was over tired. Anyway I will be thinking positive thoughts for you all and for myself. One thing I have decided now that I've had a chance to unwind after yesterday is that if I have failed I will indeed try again. Take care future RN's!!
