any advice on the best place to go to get LPN or RN in the Tulsa area

My husband wants to go back to school. He is looking at the LPN course they have at Platt collage here in Tulsa. I have heard that they have a high failing rate and are always in trouble. Is this true? He is planning on going on from there to get his RN license. Is it better just to go ahead and get his Rn right off the bat? Does Tulsa hospitals even hire LPN's anymore? Does platt collage credits transfer to other collages? If you have any advice on the best place to go to get LPN or RN in the Tulsa area that would be great! Maybe someplace cheaper? We are looking for the best option that puts us ahead and not $30K in the hole for just a LPN license! Any ideas, options or advice would be great!

The LPN program that is being offered by Platt College's Tulsa campus had a 95.52% first time NCLEX pass rate in 2009. This is an excellent first time pass rate, and it is certainly above Oklahoma's state average of 89%. Click on the link below to read about the pass rates of various LPN programs in the state of Oklahoma. The weblink comes directly from the Oklahoma Board of Nursing's official website.

The LPN program being offered at Tulsa Technology Center might be more affordable than the one that Platt College offers. It is worth it to take a look.
