I am taking my last three courses to graduate in the Spring. Who is taking Ethics and are there any veterans of this course that can offer any advice?

I just finished Ethics in December. I found it to be really easy compared to the Nursing classes. I had professor L.

The one thing that was frustrating was that the DB topics were not posted until after the quiz, so you can't work ahead. Or if you are used to doing all of your work on a certain day, you can't do it that way with this class. You have one quiz, and one Db with 2 responses each week.

The first couple of weeks took a bit of extra energy just getting used to the kind of thinking you do, it can seem like a bunch of mumbo jumbo at first.

Grading after the exams is really slow.. I think it was over 2 weeks after the midterm before I got my grade.

The best part is no papers and no APA. Just make sure you reference and cite, but there is no requirement for kind of reference you use, and no points off for APA. Is very doable with another class. Oh and one more thing, it seems to drag on forever in the 15 week format.

Hey how long did it take you to complete the program? How do you like it so far? I'm nervous about the videos and I heard there's some extra classes that other programs don't require.

I'm in too! One of my last classes, can't wait to be done.

Thank you for the insight! I am taking three classes at once. Yipes! Since they are all non-nursing, they cannot be as bad as taking 2 5 week nursing classes at the same time. I am ready to let it drag on since I don't have much energy left at this point.

Hey e1056 how fast will you finish the entire program by taking 3 classes at once? When did you start? Thanks

I'm taking three this semester. So far, I have 2 going on and the 3rd will be Family in March.

Just get really organized, map out what's due when and when you will have time to get stuff done.

Keep going... we can do this..!

These are my last 3. Unfortunately they are all 15 week classes. I have taken 2 at once but never 2 nursing since they are too labor intensive in 5 weeks. I started Fall of 2012 and will finish this Spring semester. Wish I would have doubled up a 15 week with a nursing class but oh well what do they say about hindsight? lol

Well, I don't think Ethics will take too much time.

Hi all. I took Ethics with Business Communication in 2013. Ethics is doable with any class. As others have mentioned, the first couple of weeks were rather frustrating for me. It is just a different way of thinking and yes grading is slow. The class did seem to take forever to finish and I was not fond of taking the quizzes first and than having access to the discussion posts. Staying organized is the key. Good luck to everyone!
