I lived in Homerville/Lodi for several years. Moved recently to Huron. I considered going to NCSC for the ADN program but went with Ehove for the LPN program. Lot's of luck to you! :)

WOW there are people from this area!! I am so glad iam not the only one hehehe. Well I have been so indecisive about wich route I want to take. At first I thought that I wanted to go to the technical college for the lpn program but I found out that their waiting list for it is 3YEARS! I amost fell out of my chair! Then I comsidered going to a vocational school for the lpn program. and finally I have thought about the technical college for the RN program. Do you thik that it is normal for the waiting lists to be this long???

Well I just stumbled upon this thread... I am in nursing school in Mansfield, Ohio. I am in the AP program at MCN. No waiting list that I know of. A few of my friends are on the waiting list at NCSC. You could go to MCN and get your BSN even before your name makes it to the top of the list at NCSC. If you already have a degree you could get into the accelerated program or if you just have transfer credits you could get into the advanced placement (AP) program.

Hello,

I am attending Marion Tech right now 3-31-05, the wait list for R.N. is the fall of 2007, I heard they just hired 2 new instructors, so maybe there could be a jump up in line. I am sticking with 2007 because I have mapped out what I will take each quarter (along with the brush-up courses I want to take, I have been out of school for 15 years) as long as I take something nurse related like A&P and A&P2, sociology ect, I will have a much easier time with my "actual" nursing classes, instead of taking 18 credit hours the first fall quarter, I only have to take 8 because I will already have taken the rest. Plus I am 33 yrs old, and have a husband and 3 kids, age 8,7 and 3 months, so I have to take my time, I'm going to get older whether I am going to school or just staying at home or working at Walmart, so I might as well make it easy on myself... but I have been wondering about the LPN program at tri-rivers... some time has passed since your post Robb, have you started yet? Do you or anyone have any info on job security of an LPN, is it better to be an R.N.???? Thanks for any help you can give me, I'm going to start a new thread about the LPN question...
