Does anyone know if Kent State Ashtabula branch offers a Bachelor's Nursing degree? I hear most people going for the Associates, and I read on the website that they offer an online accelerated RN to BSN program, but I am starting out with near zero college under my belt and wondering if I could go straight into a program and work for a Bachelor's Degree. Thanks for your help!

I am almost positive that only Kent Trumbull and Kent main offer a Bachelors as a major track. Aginst the ASN? I was in that program (Trumbull) until I was accepted to the Mercy College program starting this fall.

Thanks so much for your response...just wanted to be sure.
No, I'm not against an ASN at all. I just wanted to weigh all my options. I was able to qualify for enough grants to pay for most of my schooling, so I thought it might not be a bad idea to look into getting all the schooling I can nearly cost free before I start working - as once I start working I will lose the grant money. I am feeling very motivated at the moment, but who knows how I'll feel in 3-4 years when I actually am finishing up...but I'm kind of thinking long term and would like to eventually get a Masters if I can keep with it. So I just thought if I could get a bachelor's, then start working and going back for the Master's it would be a great help.
Thanks so much for your help - I'm starting prerequisite's in about a week and a half, and I'm so excited!

No, I am almost positive that Ashtabula does not offer a BSN. Geauga does and Trumbull does.
Thanks so much for your responses! I talked to someone from Ashtabula and you were right they do not. Unfortunately with small children I cannot commute at this time, but I appreciate all the help. This forum is wonderful!
It sounds as though we have a very similar "life" situation in regards to kids and school!! I have 2 little girls ( 4ys and 12 weeks) and could not live around school. Start at KSU Ashtabula and bang out some pre- reqs. They all will transfer into almost any program you might choose to apply for. I spent 2 years doing just that and it landed me a spot into the Mercy College program at St. Elizabeth's where I start next week. 5 semesters and I'll be done with my ASN after which I will continue on to my BSN.
