OMG, I took my Nclex exam for the second time as many of you already know. I was NOT even there for an hour and the computer shut off at 75. At First I was in denial, I was thinking no, it can't shut off now, I am not done, I need to do some more. However, when the survey came on I came out of the denial-inital shock phase. The first time I took the exam I had 265 and now I did the complete opposite. Well, overall I have mixed feelings. I don't have a STRONG feeling that I failed like the first time when the computer shut off at 265 I just knew I failed and I was right. Now, my feelings are mixed but I am more on the I passed side and everything is OK. So now I have the anticipation of waiting. I live in one of the lucky states that can find out the unofficial results on thursday.
Question for those who already passed and live in the quick results states did you look for your results on the state board of nursing on the day that they say you could look for your unofficial results? Where they there or did you have to look at the website for the national council boards of nursing site first?
Well, I want to thank everyone who encouraged me the first time I did took boards and everyone who encouraged me and gave prayers this time. I will let everyone know after I find something out on Thursday. I have plenty of things to occupy my time with. Today I am going to get my house organized, my house is so disorganized it will probably take me two days to get it organized so that will keep me busy, as well as books that I have that I have not read yet, and movies I have rented from the video store.
So I have lots to do.

I did and it wasn't there (MA nursing board). It was available through the quick results that day and then showed up on the Nursing board about 3 days later. (Monday had been a holiday so it may have been 2).
Well, from what most say, 75 is usually a good sign. You sound positive and studied hard. I hope you are able to relax until Thursday. Lord knows, I tried.
It sounds like you did well. :-) I'm rooting for you! :-)

We didnt have access to results over quick access. I had to wait and do the phone thing. I think it was 3 days. I got 75 and passed. Good luck, reward yourself well.

:balloons: Yeahhhhhhhh Tonya! (clapping) You go girl!
I believe you passed that exam, so start celebrating! It's a gut feeling I have. I work Thursday, so won't get your results until probably Friday night after work or Saturday morning. 12 hour shifts both days wipe me out to the point all I can do is make it home, shower, and fall into my bed. But, I'm hoping all went well for ya! :kiss

Tonya,
I have every faith in you!! 75 is a good sign!! I am defininetly thinking about you. I'm glad you're not as worried as last time because I remember you were quite upset understandably but I want you to feel OK.

The anticipation is an absolute killer...I know!!!! I wish you the best, I feel you did good!!! :)
As far as the results go, here in FL we have the quick results from Pearson (if ya want to call it quick) within 48 hours. I checked that website at midnight, 1 am, 2am, need I go on? LOL!!
By 10 am, Pearson still did not have my results. I checked the BON website for lic. lookup, and I saved $7.95, my license was up before my results were up from Pearson.
Don't forget to let us know the outcome!! Been praying for ya, you did it!!!! Fingers crossed, I was exactly where you are, it is tough...but with your confidence, I really think you licked that exam!!!

The waiting is awful- I live in a state with no quick access but the State has a web site for professional licenses- I took the test on a Mon AM and it was up by Wed AM (RN license). The rumor in my state is if you fail- they yank your temp permit- but that does not matter- cause YOU DID WELL!!!!! I had 75 also- you're in my thoughts!

Good luck!! I'll be thinking of you - It sounds like a good sign to me though, especially because you have been studying hard and preparing for this. Let us all know how it turns out! :) Also, in NY my license was posted on the Board of Nursing about 36 hours after the test and I had my license in the mail about a week after.
