October NCLEX takers: MOTIVATE

Published

If you are taking NCLEX in October as I am here is a place to get motivated. As of today you have approximately 4-8 weeks to prepare for this life changing test. That is more than enough time if you haven't started yet.

Now crack open whatever review book you have and hit it because now is the time to begin. Start typing :typing those review sheets, looking over rationales start with the stuff you know you need help with and feel like :banghead: because by the end of your study time you'll be up to the stuff you do know and you'll hopefully feel more comfortable at test time... or maybe you won't.

Anybody else motivating tips, or study tips for NCLEX

i really wish we october test takers and the future onces best of luck. we almost there guys.

hey Cassyandra, how is studying going with u?

:caduceus: Guys we can do this and by God grace we will get there and overcome NCLEX, we need to be dedicated to our studying time, eat healthy, and always be optimistic. this is going to be my second time taking nclex and i pray that we will all make it cos all things are possible with God....so here we start our open discussion.....:D

I have written nclex rn exam twice now. The last one was last week friday and i failed again. I know with God everything is posible but does anyone has any information as to what material is the best. I have used kaplan but it did not work for me.

3rd sit on oct.. hopefully we all pass.. having a hard time absorbing all the content.. especially drugs.. i think that's the reason why i failed twice.. because iam not that familiar with all the contents.. it's been a while.. graduated march 06.. so i forgot mostly everything:eek:

not getting any younger :chuckle

All the best to all of you writting nclex rn october.

first try this 29 oct. 3 weeks ago i kept answering questions 100-250/day i've noticed that all were below average that was why i've changed study habit this time i included reading the content in the morning and afternoon till night i do the questions ...

ab normal btw same as you i graduated april 06... mostly forgot everything too. goog luck to us :)

i did kaplan too but its quite unfortunate, am doing ati now, saunders, exam cram and prioritization and delegation from linda..

I agree that you have to keep the Faith. I constantly tell myself that God didn't allow me to get through Nursing school for nothing at all. "If God gets you to it, He'll take you through it." I keep in mind that Giants do fall, and NCLEX-RN is just that a Giant that has to fall. Keep believing and never give up.

Hello fellow October test takers!!! I just received my ATT today and I had hoped to be a September taker, but that is not going to happen. I take my NCLEX-RN next Friday Oct 2 at 1:30!!! :D Looking forward sharing support and advice. Anyone else taking it that day?

If anyone has read the September group, :up:they have a PERFECT  record going on....Let's do that in October 2009!!!! Study hard and pray for eachother!
