Would you ever change your area of nursing?

Specialties Ob/Gyn

Those who work in L&D would ever want to change to a different area of nursing?

How long have you been working in the L&D area?

Just Curious :)

I don't use the terms "ever" and "never" often. I tend to prove myself wrong when I do. At this point, I have no intention of changing specialties. I have been doing OB/GYN/Newborn nursing for 6 years now. Not to say that once I finish my BSN, I won't try something new, tho!

changed once but came back, been doing it 4 yrs now. only changes i have in mind is getting masters or CNM NP. but will be in same specialty area.

Interesting. What is CNM NP?

CNM: Certified Nurse Midwife

NP : Nurse Practicioner......some have both certifications, e.g. John Jones, CNM, NP would be their title.
