Well I have been on this board I recently transfered from APU to L&D this post is personal though since I don't have too much experience with really early pregnancies. I had my period sometime in november (dont know when) I definatly know i haven't had one in December last thursday I tool 2 pregnancy test both were positive (yeah) talked to my doc got an US scheduled. Nothing visible. No sac in uterus or around where my ovaries are, no sac anywhere. I do however have a retro uterus and the US tech said it was hard to see, talked to my doc went to have HCG test today and another one friday wend home took another pregnancy test (positive) I'm so full of emotions I just had to get it out. No bleeding no pain, no period no baby (I'm bumbed) Any words of wisdom or encouragment

I am not a nurse or mother, but you will be in my prayers...

Hugs to you!

I'm a mom and have been trying to be again for a year and a half so I know how you feel. I'm sorry. Keep your chin up. Hopefully it will happen and all will be okay. Good Luck!

I really wish you the best....

been down this road too many times. It's just too personal for me, I am sorry.

I send you my warmest thoughts.

I had a lady partsl U/S at 6w5d and my uterus appeared empty. My OB suggested that the baby was "hugging" the uterus. At 8w1d there he was clear as a bell and HUGE! He's now nearly two-and-a-half :D

Betas will be very informative, as well as a follow-up U/S. HCG should double every 48 hours at this point. Please come back and update as you can!

SBE ~ I'm sorry; I don't know if you've shared your story before, but my ears are always open :icon_hug:

With my pregnancy (the one I am almost done with!), I had my first positive HPT. Took a urine test at the docs office, negative. I had my test in my pocket, so they sent me for a blood test- my quant was ZERO. Bad bad day- nursing school graduation, lots of emotions. High, low, high...

Went to an amusement park that weekend, had fun, came back home. Realized I still hadn't started my period, retested a week later. Positive. As were the 6 other tests I took that night and the next morning. Positive at the docs office. My quant was 81. Found this out they day I took my NCLEX (right after I took it, driving down the highway).

My quant doubled. I was told at first (before the second quant) it was probably a blighted ovum, and if I wanted I could go ahead and terminate by taking methotrexate. I declined, wanted to find out for sure what was going on. I had several ultrasounds in the beginning, because of the weird start (false positive). At first, they couldn't see anything. Just that my uterine walls were thicker than normal- no sac or anything. A week and a half later, there was a sac. A week later we saw a heartbeat. :redbeathe

I hope everything turns out they way you would like. *hugs again*

SBE ~ If you get a chance, I would like to hear your story (by PM). Thank you for taking time to share your experience with me :)

(((((((((((((((((Hugs))))))))))))))))))) I've been in your shoes. It is very hard. I can only imagine your emotional state it's so hard. (((Hugs))) you are welcome to pm me with any questions.

Well I spipke to my doctor this morning. My HCG levels are 2200 with those levels you "should" be able to see at least a sac in the uters (he did not) he even went to look at my US. Although he/they didn't see anything outside of the uterus either, so plan is to still get another hcg tomarrow and go from there.
