Hi! I worked in an OB-GYN office for about 4 years, and the doc was ALWAYS behind. It can be very difficult and frustrating for all involved.

Scheduling is the major issue with this. Are the docs willing to consider block scheduling? For example:

    9-12 am: initial OB visits
    12-1: lunch (very important!)
    1-3: gyn visits only
    3-6: other OB visits

This is just to give you a general idea, it could vary from day to day during the week. Time for emergency visits should definitely be allotted every day as well.

    Hope this helps!
