to be fair, that is a little hard to do when some of the consequences of working in this area is political - as some have mentioned the danger of working in a known clinic - that is political.

also, some have noted the positive and negative ways working as an "abortion assistance rn" effects their lives - some of those effects are caused by the political ramifications.

this is a hard subject to talk about without bringing politics or opinion into the mix.

opinion re: women using abortion over and over as birth control. abortion in rape/incest cases. what would happen if abortion was illegal again.

all political slants . . . all opinion.

i have no advice regarding the op's question. so i'll hush now.

    Folks:

the OP has requested we close the thread, so it is.

Thankyou to those who did attempt to answer her questions and help her as she requested. I just want to reiterate I understand and do respect the sensitivity of the subject of abortion and no matter what "side" of this issue we stand on, everyone is entitled to his or her opinion.

However, hijacking a thread to make a political statement when the thread is prefaced "this is not a political thread" is unfair and unnecessary. The topic of abortion is very heated for many of us, clearly. But, this was not the thread appropriate for this type of debate or discussion. Please keep that in mind in future threads and try to just either help the original poster with your input, or refrain if it's something that bothers you that much.

    Thanks for understanding.
