I moved from there last Sept. to NC.

I've applied too, both at Oakland and U of D Mercy. I wonder when Oakland schedules interviews.

Hello,
I am from Oakland County and went to both OCC and MCC. Taking prereqs at both. In Oakland County the waiting list is crazy for the nursing program. At MCC there were 2400 students waiting on 120 seats. I worked construction on an instructors home from OCC and they told me there were over 5,000 students trying for those 120 seats.
I ended up sending applications to community colleges starting in Saginaw and going north. Found a school that was 8 students short of a full class that year, got their prereqs out of the way and just finished my LPN there.
Cadillac is to start a nursing program. Mid-michigan has a program also. I ended up staying in a travel trailer (Redneck dormroom) all semester. Yes even winter. Thing is if you want it you will do what you need to to get it done.
Good luck @ Oakland U
One other thing, I heard up 94 toward Port Huron was a community college that, and its nursing program was not full. Can't remember the name.

Oakland schedules interviews starting late September. At least, that was last year.
Has anyone heard anything yet from these Michigan schools? Just curious!

Isn't U of D app deadline 9.30? And OU deadline was this past Friday. More waiting I guess :)

Whew. Got called for an interview today. I was getting worried. If anyone knows anything else about Oakland's quiz, let us know! (Like, multiple choice, drug calcs?)

So how did everyones interview go? I did my via satellite in Kalamazoo MI at their satellite program. It was an interesting interview. I thought it was hard. And that first question on the quiz was a doozy huh? Good luck to all.
