Edit: Nevermind, found it! I think I'm going to buy it.

Edit: Ohhh holy ** there's a list of 7 books there.. def not going to buy them all.. maybe just the required 3 for now

Do you think that they will add more pharm classes for Summer I? I was really hoping to get in to classes asap.. I think I'll be on vaca Summer II

The prices for these books on Amazon marketplace are much much cheaper. I ordered the previous edition of the math calculation book since it appears to be the same book only it costs a penny. The numbers haven't changed since the last edition I'm sure.

I have all except the Tabers Dictionary its at Barnes and noble for 11 dollars I spent a total of 100 for all books I used Amazon and old students. I'm just excited I'm sure by next semester I dnt kno if I be as prepared but I'm try lol

Nice! I searched different used book sites and found Davis's, Clinical Calculations, and Pharm & Nursing Process for roughly $120. My friend told me she'd price her books out for me.. but she's not home, I may be too impatient for that and just buy them through Amazon lol.

I've been reading through 2016 OCC allnurses post trying to gather information.

Now I'm debating fall or winter.. I'm going on vacation Aug 11-21 so Summer II is out for Pharm. I wonder if they'll add more seats for Summer I Pharm classes once letters go out?

I thought they only offer summer 1 may 9_June 28 and that's for fall starters right????

LOL that explains why I couldn't find any classes for Summer II Pharm. So I'm confused - why does OCC's registration page say that all of the Summer I Pharm classes are closed? Are they all booked up or are they reserved for nursing students with a fall start date?

We do not register the nursing department does that for us . once we are chosen for what ever semester They pick our class and register we have to keep checking to see what we have been registered for

:eek: Oooooh ok, thanks. That makes sense now. It's been awhile since I went to that info. session lol.

Hopefully they allow us to sign up for the session of our choice like 2016 got to do.

With all of that info. understood now, I hope to get into fall. If given the choice I will choose the fall start date.

Reading through the 2016 post and looking back we'd received a semi-thick standard size envelope with 3 letters in it. 1 letter congratulated those accepted into the program and, from memory, 1 letter allowed us to choose if we wanted to start during the winter semester or something like that. It had to be turned in to OCC. Winter was given priority and most people who requested a fall start date got into the fall semester.

But things are a little different this year than last. Hopefully they still go about it the same way though.

Hey everyone so I decided to go ahead and buy the Pharm txt and the Calculations txt!! I re-calculated my score out of curiosity and (drum roll) I applied with a 14.42 (A&P I&II in 8 weeks at Macomb killed me), it was good enough to get in last year so hopefully it's good enough this year too! Out of curiosity what did you all apply with?

Admission into the Nursing program is all I can think about.

Well. Its Monday morning and I'm too nervous to call the office so I probably wait till after my mail runs... I seriously hoping that 21 date is not real
