If your friend does not get accepted, tell her to apply to Schoolcraft. They have what seemed like a pretty long wait-list, yes, but from what I've hard everyone who applies gets into the program - regardless of re-takes or point systems.

Oh no!!! I plan to call around 430 . I tried calling Southfield location and can't get through but maybe its from all 216 of us calling asking about the letter

I tried Southfeld Higland lakes and even the Dean and no answer at neither numbers!!! Maybe they all rush our letters to the postal office rofl :roflmao:

Omg. i cannot wait anymore. i called both campuses the entire day with no one answering my phones. i guess we have to wait until next week, my birthday is on the 14th so maybe it is a good sign for me lol.

The offices are probably used to this by now, everyone calling and trying to pump them for information a week before we're supposed to get our letters. LOL. I wonder if the office staff person was just trolling, saying the letters wont be out until after the 15th.

thanks , i guess this is what they are doing .two days ago she told me they will be mailed by 15 (she was angry at me and said "the deadline is 15 th which mean they won't be ,mailed until then ,than she told another student after 21 ,however i will be expecting them on monday lol.

Last year someone called on the 11th and the office told them they mailed them out the day before. So for them to say there's a delay (lying or not) is just CRUEL!!! í ½í¸©

Oh wow, well I hope it doesn't get delayed even further back than the 21st. I wonder why there wasn't a mass email sent to the applicants about the delay? That way people won't be calling as much wondering where the letters are.

I was thinking exactly the same thing. I searched OCC's website and my email- there is nothing stating that there has been a delay in the acceptance letters. Other schools, like Wayne State, make big announcements if/ when their deadlines are not met in time.

And yes, if an OCC staff members was lying about the admission letters (being delayed) that's cruel. Idk why someone would do that, other than to get an inflammatory response; maybe it was a misunderstanding idk.
