it's the moment i've been waiting for. the one remaining piece of information that has been holding me back at work. my authorization to test. why is it that i am sooo nervous all of a sudden? i've been to a great review course. i have the information. i know i'm a good test taker. i guess its just thinking... this is finally it. ya know?? moment of truth.
so, i scheduled it for tuesday, feb. 5th at 9:00. yes. 9 days away. i want to go back through my review book before that day, and i think with 4-5 hours each morning before i go to work around 12, i should get that accomplished. plus, i'll have this coming weekend and the monday before i test to look back over some things. that's a reasonable day to test, right? i want to give myself enough time to refresh... but i don't want to push myself too hard either. and i don't want to put it off too long either. i do want to get it over with.
hey everybody,
i passed my test on wednesday!! i'm so glad it's over... whew!!!
thanks for all the well-wishes and encouragement!
holy cow!!! congratulations!!!
while it's still fresh in your mind... spill the details of the exam! what should we look forward to?!? how long would you say you spent? what did the questions focus on? were the questions diverse in the field? any specific advice you would give?
congratulations!!!!!!!
:paw:
many many many thanks to everybody!!!!!!!
as for the test, i will post a separate thread in case others are interested. but i didn't have anybody help me with the questions, so i can't exactly to through the questions... but i can give you pointers. :)
trauma: i'm working for a local cardiology group (:redbeathe and i love it!!) mostly in the clinic right now, until all the credentialing paperwork for the hospitals gets done. the first credentialing committee meeting at one of the three hospitals is wednesday. hopefully i can get in the hospital soon. i'm not sure when the other two hospitals' meetings are. we just got our treadmill hooked up, so i'll be able to supervise stress tests in my main office (there are two offices) now. mostly its just a "hurry up and wait" type of deal.
kristie: i know, after i notified my instructor/classmates, she said she was shocked that i found out immediately. and do you know that i received my certification letter in the mail today?? and i tested on wednesday! i am not complaining at all.
but anyway, thanks again everybody!!!!!!! i really do appreciate it!
