Anyone know which classes you have to take for NYU nursing program? And does anyone think a 3.2 is good enough to get in? Their website isn't very helpful.
Thanks in advance.

I have seen quite a few posters that got into NYU with a 3.2 GPA.

NYU doesn't have any pre-reqs that need to be completed before applying. Meaning when you apply you do all the pre-reqs before you move onto the professional phase until you have completed them all. So let's say you transfer in, if you're missing 2 classes you have to do those two classes in the semester before the professional phase. the classes required to move onto the professional phase are 2 college english writing classes, nutrition, chemisty, A&P, Intro to psych, Developmental Psych, Micro, statistics, intro to sociology, a sociology elective and 2 history classes.

if you're talking about the nyu's accelerated program, you need
Human Anatomy & Physiology I and II, or one semester of Anatomy and one semester of Physiology
Chemistry (one semester only) with lab
Microbiology
Nutrition
Statistics
Developmental Psychology/Life Span Psychology
I will be starting the accelerated program in the fall and my gpa was a 3.3. I think as long as you have good LORs and a great essay, you'll be fine.
