Hey, this is super duper early but I figured we could get some questions, fears, or concerns talked through until March 1, 2021, for priority or April 1, 2021, for the regular decision to NYU's ABSN 15 month program for non-nurses. Please don't be afraid, Please share stats if you are comfortable doing so. It really does help cohorts after us figure out strengths and weaknesses to be better applicants. Hey, after all, It's all about helping each other out at the end of the day, right! Don't be shy, talk about where you're from and things you may be worried about for the application process. As well as other schools you might be applying for!

I graduated with a 3.2 cumulative and I’m currently a medical scribe.
I got like As and Bs in my prereqs except I did get a C in gen chem 1 LOL
But on the prereq form I used my gen chem 2 class which I got a B or B+ in

Thank you so much and I'm sending my best to those still waiting! I'm including my stats below:
- Undergrad GPA: 3.6/4.0, Psychology major, Public Health minor
- Post-baccalaureate premedical program GPA: 3.8/4.0 (thought I wanted to go to medical school)
- I worked in marketing for a year after college. I later moved into clinical research at a hospital where I've been working since (3+ years).
- Volunteering/shadowing: ~1000 hours
- 4 publications

Congratulations!! Wishing you the best.
seeing this made me rethink, if they took this long to accept you with those amazing stats, im at a loss.
I'd like to ask those who have already been accepted into the program a question: Are any of you recent new grads or graduating in May 2021?
Many individuals seem to have been out of college for several years and have incredible work experience on their resumes, making me think I should do the same and apply in later years to be just as competitive...
NYU is the only school I applied for this cycle because I genuinely believed I had a chance of getting in, but now I'm just waiting for my rejection letter at this point.
Sorry for the tangent; it's been a particularly frustrating couple of weeks, which is not what I had hoped for, especially with graduation approaching this weekend.
Congratulations again to everyone who has been accepted thus far. You're all going to be incredible nurses!

Hi, I am also graduating this May! I totally understand the frustration and the sense of dread while waiting for decisions to come out. I was also rejected to many nursing programs in the past and I only managed to get into some schools now as graduation is approaching. I applied for traditional programs in my sophmore year, junior year and was rejected. I was totally surprised that NYU took me in since my grades weren't spectacular. Please don't lose hope yet, I believe in you! I have known people who got decisions in end of May for fall 2020, so I do not think the cycle for accepting more applicants is over yet!

Hi! I actually graduated May 2020 and applied for NYU for Fall last cycle and was denied!!
don't be so unmotivated already — if you look in last year’s thread, a lot of people were admitted even late into the Summer and a lot of people deny the program because of the exorbitant price tag.
