Hey, this is super duper early but I figured we could get some questions, fears, or concerns talked through until March 1, 2021, for priority or April 1, 2021, for the regular decision to NYU's ABSN 15 month program for non-nurses. Please don't be afraid, Please share stats if you are comfortable doing so. It really does help cohorts after us figure out strengths and weaknesses to be better applicants. Hey, after all, It's all about helping each other out at the end of the day, right! Don't be shy, talk about where you're from and things you may be worried about for the application process. As well as other schools you might be applying for!
I just checked my portal and I GOT IN!! It was a very long and hard waiting period (especially since I got denied from Columbia).
Just wanted to share my stats just to let everyone know you don't have to have perfect grades and medical experience.
My Major: Marketing
My overall GPA was a 3.61

Micro-(in Progress)
A&P2- (In Progress)
Developmental Psych- A
Nutrition- A-
Chemistry- B+
Business Statistics- B
I have absolutely 0 medical experience, I have never shadowed or volunteered. I do however have 7 years of management experience and I was decently involved in school. You don't have to have straight A's and a 4.0 and medical experience to get in! My boyfriend recently graduated from this program and his friends also had similar stats to mine.

Hi all! Did the committee ask y’all for midterm grade report?
Hey! I am currently retaking Statistics and although I passed the first time, I knew I could do better and make myself more competitive so I am currently taking it right now. I reached out to admissions and asked them if I should submit a midterm grade report since I technically already have a grade for the course, however, my current grade is much higher. They said submitting midterm grade reports are highly encouraged, even if they are not requested directly. Hope this helps! ?
