Hey, this is super duper early but I figured we could get some questions, fears, or concerns talked through until March 1, 2021, for priority or April 1, 2021, for the regular decision to NYU's ABSN 15 month program for non-nurses. Please don't be afraid, Please share stats if you are comfortable doing so. It really does help cohorts after us figure out strengths and weaknesses to be better applicants. Hey, after all, It's all about helping each other out at the end of the day, right! Don't be shy, talk about where you're from and things you may be worried about for the application process. As well as other schools you might be applying for!
Yeah, it seems like Monday around 2pm is when decisions are released. I haven't heard anyone else receiving a decision on a different day besides last week when the office was closed on Monday and decisions were released on Tuesday instead. In prior years, it appeared that decisions were released on Fridays but that doesn't seem to be the case this year. This entire process is just excruciating!
Man, guess we'll just painstakingly wait until next Monday then T_T Unless NYU wants to surprise us by releasing decisions earlier :))
I honestly don't think the college where you are taking it matters. As long as you are enrolled somewhere to take it, I highly doubt it will change the course of your application. I would just leave it alone and wait to hear back from them with a decision and then inform them of the change if you are accepted. That's just what I would do to be honest.

OMG I know ? Every Monday I am like "OK, maybe today is the day!" and then I don't hear anything back but see that other people do and it just becomes more and more discouraging each week. I hope they surprise us with more decisions later this week ?

HONESTLY ? I've been monitoring my application status from 2pm hoping that maybe they'll release decisions later in the day (I seem to recall reading that some people received their acceptance around 5/6pm, but I could be making it up). What can we do, but wait ?

No, you are right.. that seemed to have been the trend last cohort 5-6.. it just changes constantly.. I wish I could just relax after noting that I didn't hear anything, however I then start thinking I might have missed an email about missing documents or what not and I then start refreshing.

Is your checklist gone as well? Mine disappeared last week. I always assume that once the checklist disappears, it means that a decision is eminent, but this cycle seems to be different from everything I know LOL.

Yes! Mine disappeared last week as well. I then went back to read past forums (specifically Fall 2020 ABSN) in detail, and I read that this trend happened to them as well and around this time, checklist disappeared and some heard within the same day, within the same week and some who had it disappear heard within a couple of weeks. So, moral of it all is we just don’t know at all.
