Hey, this is super duper early but I figured we could get some questions, fears, or concerns talked through until March 1, 2021, for priority or April 1, 2021, for the regular decision to NYU's ABSN 15 month program for non-nurses. Please don't be afraid, Please share stats if you are comfortable doing so. It really does help cohorts after us figure out strengths and weaknesses to be better applicants. Hey, after all, It's all about helping each other out at the end of the day, right! Don't be shy, talk about where you're from and things you may be worried about for the application process. As well as other schools you might be applying for!
for everyone that got in, what does the financial aid look like? and how will you be going about paying for tuition? no pressure to answer, just wondering! nyu’s tuition is pretty hefty
I received a small scholarship but honestly didn't make that much of a difference. The price is really intimidating and I'm planning on using federal loans and private loans to cover tuition and other expenses ?
Hi I have applied for NYU fall. I still had one perquisite left to take which is Chemistry lab. I listed that I was going to take in Summer 2021 in cuny Brooklyn college but now I see a different college has a better time schedule for me in Summer would that make a different towards my application. Since I originally listed Brooklyn college would anyone know?
I just checked my portal and I GOT IN!! It was a very long and hard waiting period (especially since I got denied from Columbia).
Just wanted to share my stats just to let everyone know you don't have to have perfect grades and medical experience.
My Major: Marketing
My overall GPA was a 3.61
Pre-Req Grades:
A&P1- A
Micro-(in Progress)
A&P2- (In Progress)
Developmental Psych- A
Nutrition- A-
Chemistry- B+
Business Statistics- B
I have absolutely 0 medical experience, I have never shadowed or volunteered. I do however have 7 years of management experience and I was decently involved in school. You don't have to have straight A's and a 4.0 and medical experience to get in! My boyfriend recently graduated from this program and his friends also had similar stats to mine.
