NYU ABSN fall 2019

It's a little early but I figured I would start this thread as we all begin to get our applications in!

& job outlook isnt the end all be all for choosing a school for most people. I was asked what I was considering and why, and those were my reasons. Feel free to disagree.

For anyone wondering the next admitted student night is Wed, May 8 4:30 PM — Wed, May 8 6:30 PM

Since the next admitted students day is Wednesday May 8th, the rest of us should hopefully hear back by next Thursday May 2nd!

I saw on the NYU website that they don't have another admitted students night after May 8th , does that mean the next round of decisions is the last?

I don’t think so because I called today and she said decisions will be going out until June, so they probably update the website as they go

For those of you that got declined, if you don't mind me asking, did you also get a decision through Albert on the application page?

Hey I got a rejection letter. I got an email from NYU with a subject line Decision Made of some sort and would ask you to log in to view your decision on Albert page.

Leaning towards NYU, the extra money is off putting but a job is pretty much guaranteed afterwards so youd def be able to pay them back (although I heard Mt. Sinai put out a memo theyre hiring 140+ new nurses & im assuming they’d consider their own students favorably). I also heard some ppl dont show up for class at NYU because everything is podcasted which sounds flexible to me ??‍♀️ Who are you leaning towards and why? I need counsel too!

I'm looking to speak to someone who graduated from Mount Sinai's ABSN program- do you know anyone who graduated or is currently in the program? (if anyone else knows someone please let me know)
