NY license by endorsement help !

Hi everyone,

Would greatly appreciate some info from NY nurses !

I applied to the NY BON by endorsement (Canadian nurse, but I already have a MN license)

my application is complete they have confirmed receipt of all requiresd documents. I was told they are now in the review process. How long did this take for everyone once the NYSED received all the documents ??

Im wanting to take a contract in NY, but wonder how long it actually will be until I have a license.

Its going to be a while. Everything in NY take a really long time. I couldnt give you specifics but I wouldn't hold your breath for very long.

I'm currently on a travel assignment in NYC. It literally took less than a month for me to have my NY RN license issued after submitting all required documents (including completion of required online courses). Good luck to you!!

Hi,

I am in the same situation. I sent in my documents for cgfns for my cvs, currently awaiting review. Sent in all my documents for ny Bob and i am still awaiting an answer.

I was wondering how long did it take for your cvs and for your new york license?
