Hi there my fellow RN's!
I'm just bothered with this NYS application of mine, I started this about March 2015, my CVS is done, I already submitted Form 1 through NYSED, attached every attachments and paid all that was required, now, its January 2016, I haven't received my Authority to take the exam (ATT) for NCLEX yet, what do I do? Do you have the same case as I do?

Did you apply to Pearson Vue and pay $200 registration fee. PV emails the ATT once authorized by the BoN assuming you submitted a completed application including mandated continuing education to the BoN

Have you spoken to the BON?
Hi. I haven't applied to Pearson vue yet, do I have to apply first? Somebody told me I only have to wait for ATT then after, that's when I apply for Pearson. I didn't it was the other way around.
ATT is issued by pearsonvue as soon as they get the OK from the BON. You can only get your ATT by registering with pearsonvue and paying their fees. If outside the US you will have to pay extra when booking your exam

You may call or email the NYSED regarding your eligibility if you haven't receive the letter. Once they made you eligible, you can register at pearson and they will send your ATT. good luck!

Email the NYBON, mine was approved last Nov and they didn't inform me. I emailed them that's why I found out that I'm eleigible to take the exam. I believed they won't give any more eligibility letter thru mail. They will advise you to register in Pearson vue and if done you email them back that you paid for the exam fee and that's the time they will mark you eligible. And wait for your ATT. I hope this helps. God bless to your application.
Actually, i had almost the same experienced. They advised me to inform them once i registered with pearson vue. So that's what i did, then after few hours, i received my ATT.
That's great! God bless to your exam. Maybe I'll take my exam later this year.
