NY BON Visa Screen + credentials verification?

I was going through the Florida Board in 2003 but had a problem with the credentials because being from the UK I didn't have a high school diploma and that is one of their requirements, so I swapped to Georgia board which took about 4 months to get by ATT. Hope this helps.

I have submitted my Visa Screen application form. I am thinking of applying to the NY Bon (after hearing from here that it is the best way to go) and looking at their site am I right in thinking that I also have to complete the Credentials Verification form aswell? Or was this included in the visa screen application?
Anybody know what the Florida BON are like? ie how fast etc

For NY BON, Credentials Verification form is not included in the visa screen application. You have to submit it to CGFNS.

Mmmm it might be easier to go through anouther BON then. Perhaps just decide where I want to go in the US and apply to that one. Ooh no not anouther decision to make!!

the thing with going through NY BON and cgfns is that cgfns do all the chasing of transcripts and other stuff needed. NY has a special CES. If you see the thread Why is it easier in NY by nutella. Suzanne gives some excellent reasons for going that route

Are u going through an agency or going it alone?

I was going to go through an agency OGP but after a lot of thought and taking advice from this site I decided to go it alone. After reading the threads on here I reasiled that it is achievable to go alone and then non of the disadvantages of going with an agency.

I havn't started studying for NCLEX yet tho!!

Can i just ask I know nothing of all this BON stuff ect is that because I have gone through agency and that :cool: they have done all this for me or do I need to be aware of it all.
