People have been checking this website to see if they passed the day after taking the NCLEX. Pretty cool. I hope it's accurate!

Oops, I thought I posted this in the NCLEX forum.

It's up to each State BoN to issue a license, which could be one day after passing the exam, a few days, a week, or even a few weeks. Since this website is using the States' websites as a database, why not go to your own State BoN site instead of this one? After all, they can't tell you what the State doesn't tell them, so....?

The participating state's upload data to Nursys at regular intervals from daily to once every 3 weeks. The best source is your state BoN database/license verification system. My license was on the BoN site more than a week before it appeared on Nursys because my state (participates in Nursys) only uploads data every 10 days or so.
I knew you were an imposter, LOL!
Yea this would make sense, but some of my friends were checking the state BON over and over again and the Nursys website showed that they had a license number first. The BON took hours later. I was just sharing what others observed.

Mine showed up on Nursys first, then my BON later. Guess my state is one where it posts there quickly. I had done the quick results with Pearson and knew I passed. I then checked my BON and Nursys and got my license number. This is when I started sending out resumes. Received my license in the mail a few days later.
Like has been said, this process all depends on your state BON.
