Nursing text books

Hi all! I am new to allnurses.com and I am venturing here to discuss the topic of nursing text books and literature. I do not have any sort of nursing degree or education, but I am an artist looking for advice from an LPN or an RN about illustrating procedures and anatomical visuals for the field of nursing. If anyone can give me insight on a list of subjects covered in nursing school, what you learn in the classroom, what you learn in and what you perform task wise in clinicals I would really appreciate it. However, I understand this will be difficult for me because I have no in-depth knowledge of nursing but I am trying my best. Thanks. :)

This is a large and very broad topic covering essentially every aspect of nursing. If you can narrow down a specific area, topic, and focus, you will get more people willing to answer.

Even just spend some time looking around here- you'll get some great visuals from the vast experience found on this website.
