quick question about dialysis

  1. i have googled this question and i can't seem to find what i'm looking for, so i figured you guys would be able to help me.

i am taking GU and we are studying dialysis. i am wondering about the "wet" weight of a patient...i think i calculated it right. if a patient gains 1 lb, how much fluid weight is that?

i set it up so that it is just regular household conversions:

    16 ounces=1 lb.
    16 ounces=2 cups
    2 cups=480cc
    so 1 lb. fluid weight=480cc, 2.2 lbs=1 liter

is this the correct way for figuring out fluid balance with lbs. for a dialysis patient?
