    The pathophysiology of Diabetes Type II (as in the Roman numeral two, not the number eleven) is due to:
    1. impaired insulin secretion
    2. inappropriate hepatic glucose production
    3. peripheral insulin receptor insensitivity
    Genetic factors, obesity, sedentary lifestyle and stress contribute to it.
