One thing that needs to be kept in mind, what is normal aging versus pathological?

Just because a condition, like alzheimers disease, occurs in older adults, doesn't mean it is a "normal" part of aging, it is pathological and should be treated accordingly.

Keep an open mind, there are so many people who ignore pathological conditions and just blame it on old age.
