I have a degree in Nutrition and I am graduating May 15 from Nursing School. Rightnow, I accepted a job on med surg floor. I plan to work there for at least a year; hopefully work in community based nursing. I think it is a nice combination.

Hi , I worked as an RD for several years and felt unsatisfied with my job. During my years working as an RD I met a nurse who had previously been an RD, was unsatisfied with the dietetics profession so she went back to nursing school and became an RN. I have just finished nursing school and will be starting as a new nurse soon. I love the nursing profession and believe the combination of RD/RN is very desirable! Unlike the RN I met who gave up her RD status I plan on using RD along with RN credentials.
