In order to be accepted into the LPN coarse at our college we had to be able to do 90 story problems in 50 minutes. They do this in order to weed out potential candidates. They have too many students applying for this coarse. They need to accomidate these students because of the shortage.
I have a 3.0 GPA but didn't pass this exam-didn't get done in time. Really- is this necessary?
I have since then been accepted into a RN program at another college and look forward to my learning experience there. Anyone else running into the same problem????
