I wear close to a size 12 in women's now, but have narrow heels. I'm having a heck of a time finding good shoes for my up-coming clinicals. The only thing I can find in stores is a men's athletic shoe in a 10.5, but the cushioning isn't nearly as comfortable as the nursing shoes I've tried on at stores. I can't find any size 12 nursing shoes in stores, nor are they available for order (most stop at size 11 it seems). Some size 12 (easy spirit) athletic shoes have been too lose in the toe area at stores, so I hate to purchase a nursing shoe online w/o trying it on first. Does anyone have a similar shoe size w/ somewhat narrow feet who can recommend a good brand/specific shoe that fits well? Thank you!
Oh, and to make matters worse, my school requires they be leather, close-toed shoes with a back. Most of the size 12 shoes I find online are back-less or have a strap....!

Try Birkenstocks. They do have a closed back shoe in their Alpro line, all white leather.

Try Danskos. I LOVE mine, and you couldn't pay me enough to go back to anything else.
