1. Hey all! I have been struggling for MONTHS with my shoes! I've tried now 5 different brands of professional clogs, including Dansko and Sanita! Is it weird that I have excrutiating heel pain at the end of the day when wearing them? I gave each pair 6 weeks of break-in time, and I feel like I have severe neuropathy by the end of the day whenever I wear them. What are your recommendations for shoes? I'm so bummed about the clogs!

Danskos and Sanitas worked great for me for decades. I've been wearing New Balance for the past five years or so when the bunion and hammer toes made the Danskos miserable. Birkenstocks work great for many people. One guy I know won't wear anything but Doc Martens. Sadly, it's trial and error to find out what best works for your feet. You might also try going to a good, brick and mortar shoe store (The Walking Company maybe?) and asking a knowledgable salesperson for advice.

Thanks, Ruby. I have a "Shoe Tree" store right around the corner. I'll check them out!

Clogs are of the Devil! Go with sensible walking shoes. Seriously.
