To be fair many old nursing uniforms, especially those for students were rather constricted in the bosom area as well. Some bright blub came up with "action back" construction/seaming which in theory was supposed to correct the problem, but often things on the ground were quite different. If you were a *healthy* girl (anything > 34B say) one deep breath could split seams or send buttons flying across the room. You soon learned how to reach best you could to hang a bag or whatever.

How active and or comfortable for twelve hours would you be in one of these uniforms?

Which one are you? ;)

Well if I was the young gal on the extreme right do you think I'd be sitting here on the Internet chatting with *YOU*! LOL*

Sadly with the ongoing battle against the muffin top, fear sooner or later will be the second from the left. *LOL* You know it is a losing battle when you get out of the shower and start walking but when you stop other things keep moving! *LOL*

We have to wear ceil blue as nurses with my company. They give us 2 sets of Cherokee brands tops and bottoms, and we're able to buy what we want after that, any brand, style, etc----as long as its ceil blue!
