Looking to get my wife a stethoscope

Hello nurses in the world,

Firstly a round of applause to you all for the hard work you do on a daily basis, the world is a much better place because of what you do.

With Xmas coming up soon I wanted to get my wife a new stethoscope as the one she had broke and is using one of those generic hospital ones. She is an RN and works in PCU (post cardiac unit I believe it is called) and I want to get her a really nice one, that hopefully I can have engraved.

I have found many sites that can do this, but I am lost on which brand/type to get that would best fit her for her work. She cares for patients that are typically in their senior years and with cardiovascular issues. Any help with this would be appreciated, thank you.

Maybe you could get her a child's toy one as a wrapped gift -- with a note/gift certificate saying that she can pick out her own. She might like the opportunity to pick it out herself.
